Build a great web site and they will come ...
Make them wait and they will leave.

Even though internet bandwidth and download speeds are increasing every day, there is a large number of internet users who are still using 28.8 modems and even 14.4 modems. If users have to wait over 10-12 seconds for a graphics-heavy web site to load, they will likely have moved on before your home page ever finishes loading.

Your web site should have graphics where graphics are needed and text for the rest. Every additional graphic that is added to a page increases the download time accordingly.

At HBC, we know how to build attractive, well-designed web sites which download in a minimum of time.
